Notwithstanding that I had gradually been refurbishing and updating parts of the 350 while doing the 250 build… The core of the bike has not been touched for over 30 years.
It all has to come apart so that all the years of grime can be removed, and the frame, swingarm et-al can be powder coated.
I though it would be fun to record the process on timelapse, so I hunted down an old Raspberry Pi and camera and revisited the instructions I used when playing around before.

That’s a frame every 18 seconds for around 4.5 hours, reducing a running bike to a pile of bits in boxes.
It’s going to take longer to put it all back together again!
