The project continues, quietly, in the background for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September of 2020, I plucked up some courage and went to look through the boxes of parts (and spiders) in the shed looking for parts I need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was specifically looking for carburettors, an oil pump for a 250, (the 250 oil pump having a Red splotch of paint rather than the yellow of the 350), and a front brake system, requiring both master cylinder and standard right hand caliper. the donor bike had the far superior Lockheed caliper fitted, but that is a) not original fitment, and b) seized solid, requiring a complete rebuild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I found carburettors, but the LC250 pair I found had most parts missing, and the others were older RD parts, and a pair of YPVS carbs which will be sold to help fund the build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also found 5 oil pumps, 3 with the yellow dot, and 2 with the red dot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ought to be able to make one working one out of that lot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
