If anything, a few weeks in the box has made them look worse.<br>A treatment plan was devised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A cleanup on a wire brush wheel.<\/li><li>Soaking and brushing in a paraffin bath.<\/li><li>Rinsing and degreasing in a bath of brake cleaner.<\/li><li>An hour in a phosphoric acid bath.<\/li><li>&#8230;followed by an immediate scrubbing with a nylon brush in a bucket of water.<\/li><li>Drying overnight<\/li><li>A final polish up on the rotary wire brush.<\/li><li>Run an 8mm tap down the threads<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped
